Inside the freezer of my General Eletric GSH25JSTA SS, I seem to have a small trickle of water running down the back of the freezer. This trickle of water freezes at the bottom of the freezer. The water seems to melt and leak onto the floor. It's not a huge leak, but it'll get a towel somewhat wet/damp. I turned the freezer off overnight and wiped up the melted water. However, when I turned the freezer back on, the trickle of water started again and froze on the bottom. Any help would be g

I have a brand new Whirlpool 22 cu. ft. side by side refrigerator. I have noticed that the coils in the back of the freezer sometimes get red hot. I can not only hear the sizzling noise from the water hitting the coils but I can also hear "running water". Sounds like water is pouring on the inside of the freezer. When I open the freezer and feel the back wall, it is hot to the touch. Is this normal? I have never noticed something like this in any of the other ones that I had. Thanks so

There is water pooling and freezing on the bottom of the freezer section of my frost free unit. It is an LG GR359SQ. I am in the middle of thoroughly defrosting it using a hair dryer. I am not sure this will work. I am following the solution for a blocked water drain in it. I went to take off the inside back panel but after taking out 2 screws I see the side panels appear to be interlocked with the back and I hesitate to go further as I feel a bit over my skills limit. Last night I came home to find water all over the floor under my fridge, a bottom freezer kenmore. The whole thing was iced over inside, and the door partially open. I cleaned it up and closed the door. This afternoon I came back to find water all over the floor again, the freezer ice-bound, and water running out of the icemaker. The icemaker stopped making ice about a year ago, although it sometimes makes noises like it is making ice. Right now, there are ice cubes in the freezer, so it must ha

The freezer coil in the lower freezer section freezes up with ice. I have the upper section at 5C and the freezer 18C. We first notice that there is water under the fruit drawers and the fridge seems to be running a lot. This tells me that it is time to take the inside of the freezer apart and apply heat to the coil until it is free of ice. The coil is so full of ice that the freezer has to be heated to remove the outer panels as the ice is holding the panels.

I have water leaking under freezer side of door. I turned the ice maker off, turned off the water to the fridge, cleaned out the ice behind the panels, and put it all back together. Every couple of days I chip the ice off of the bottom of freezer; if I forget I get a puddle of water on my hard wood floor. The plug is in the drain hole. Is the heat element suppose to evaporate everthing when it goes through the defrost cycle? How do I quit having water run all over my floor?

The ice and/or water won't stop coming out the door when the back soft panel area is pressed. Either ice or water keep coming out when the back is pressed with a glass until door is opened. When the door is closed it sometimes continues. The button at top inside seems to be working, i.e. it can be pressed up and down. I took top of ice maker out and put it back in and readjusted the ice that was left in the bin. If the freezer door is left open the flow eventually stops. This has happened the
