Kenmore Coldspot 50269992
Found freezer door ajar 24 hours ago. Ice was melting, food was thawing. Took out contents, cleaned up water. During night could hear a slight click sound periodically. This AM refrigerator side not as cold now, freezer side not evene cold. Used vacuum cleaned coils underneath. Checked backside, visually. I can see a fan (approx 5 inches) is running. I see a canister shape with copper tubing.
This is the extent of my knowledge about this appliance. What should I do?
The click sound may be the compressor starter/overload relay trying to start the compressor(canister shape). It the compressor don't run it won't cool any. The starter could be bad and just need replacing. If the relay is burnt, bulging, or rattles w ...

Defrosted for 48 hours. cleared out water and dust from behind access panel. checked drain tubes which were clean.

The fridge used to make occasional clunking sounds, but doesn't anymore. (never thought I'd miss that but I do). It does have some gurgling sounds up above.

Samsung RB2155 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
The drain tube from the freezer to the pan at the bottom of the fridge
keeps freezing up.
After I thaw the ice, I can pour warm water into the tube and it drains ok.
I tried running a wire down the drain tube but it only goes down a few inches before it hits an obstruction.
Is it normal to have this blockage in the drain tube?

I have a Frigidaire frs26zgh. I have ice buildup in the bottom of the freezer too. I pulled everything out of the freezer including the shelves and the back panel. This exposed the cooling coils and the fan. I could see more ice and where the water was supposed to drain out the bottom to the drain pan. It was plugged. I tried to thaw it out to see if the ice was backed up in the tube, and am still waiting. When I pulled the fridge out and looked fr

This is the second time the freezer accumulates water and freezers at the bottom of the freezer section of the Admiral HMG67158, 26.6 cu ft freez/refrig. The coils behind the panel were completely frozen over and the drip pan was full. When it was fixed the first time, 2 years ago the repair man said the drain tube was cloged. I see no drain tube. This time the refrigerator side was not cooling and my milk soured and got mold on some foods. Iam hopeing that I dont have two separate problems.

GE refrigerator TNX22PA Drain tubing in freezer keeps clogging up with ice leading to the fan stopping and the freezer and frigerator compartment warming. 4 repairmen (3 from GE) have thawed the tubing. The best answer that I've gotten about the problem is that the tube itself has "softened" b/c of age(!) but cannot be simply replaced as it is integrated into the insulation. Has this been an ongoing problem, and is there any other option other than replacing an otherwise functioning reprigerator

It seems as if the Defrost Heater is working fine, otherwise the icicles would not be running down sides of freezer and e
Our Sub-Zero(model 650) refer has a a whiteish corrugated tube that comes down the back of the refrig. and hangs above the middle of the drain pan in the back.
