I have a Falcon Refrigerator RFH350 and it is just over three years.
A couple of days ago I found the bottom full of water, mopped it up, but have found this is a continual problem, basically the little tray at the back gets full and over flows into the bottom of the fridge - any ideas what is wrong?
I have an older Amana Top Freezer unit.(About 12 yrs old. It seems to cool well, still. The freezer still works great. My problem is that I'm getting a huge amount of condensation on the top of the inside of the fridge. Enough to short one of the lights. The back wall is getting ice on it, and of course the drawers at the bottom are getting full of water from the condensate. The gasket seems to seal but needs a little "extra push" to shut the door. Will replacing the gasket solve the problem, or
Yes gasket is the problem in your model. Its already 12 years old. so please do replace it and it will solve your problem.. ...
I have an LG LSC 26905TT side by side and I found water coming from under the unit on my tile floor. I pulled it out and removed the lower back panel and found that the plastic catch tray at the bottom was full of water. I got all the water out but want to know what causes this and if there is a problem.
That is the condensate (water) drain pan. Usually the heat from the compressor evaporates this. ...

Estate TT18TKXFW01(?) The frigerator was getting water on the bottom so I found out the freezer drain tube was iced over. I chipped the ice of then ran hot water and the tube flowed freely, put everything back together and the fan didn't come on immediatly. The frig was on the whole time and seemed to be working, this morning the freezer is not freezing, fan is running, and the frig is only a little cool.

You have a clogged drainline. You'll need to remove the ice maker and rear wall of freezr. Take hot water and continue pooring into the drain located dead center until it starts draining. Have towels handy... ...
Fridge and freezer are working just fine. But, I keep getting pools of water inside my fridge. These pools stay to the back of the fridge on all levels and they sometimes turn to ice. I notice ice layer on the freezer bottom too. We turned off the ice maker water valve thinking this was the problem, but pools kept coming. I notice a little drain behind the bottom drawer but can't see how the water would get there as the drawer is in the way.
Your defrost drain is most likely blocked with ice or sludge. Now when your refrigerator goes into defrost it pours into base of freezer or just anywhere it can to pool up. Click Here=> ...
I have a proline model PL166GWA i have a bad smell coming from the back of the fridge. There is a small black tray at the back that looks like it is full of muck.I can not get the tray to come out,any ideas how to remove?
The tray can be removed by easing up the front and then pulling out. Use fingers both sides of compressor to release the tray from a sticky pad that sticks to the top of the compressor. Once free from the sticky pad the tray can be pulled out hori ...

I have a kenmore bottom freezer model 596.65239402. The freezer is getting too cold. I have set it to the warmest setting with no luck. Last week I took the back plate in the freezer off and it was full of ice. I let it defrost and started it back up. Know the same thing is happening again. The freezer is too cold and I can see ice forming in the back on the coils and the refrigerator is starting to warm up.
Our fridgemaster mtrl170 fridge had a build up of ice in the top of the fridge. While I was away my partner took the fridge outside to defrost it and found the drip tray at the back was full of water and muck decided to tilt the fridge and drain the water and muck out. Took it back inside and switched it on. The light came on and it clicks at the back but it doesnt work. Switched it off for 24 hours to let the gas settle, but its still not working. Any idea???

I seem to have ice building up on the back wall of the freezer and I think it is effecting the fridge temp. I tried to remove the back wall of the freezer but if will not come out at the bottom. I also noticed while I was playing the back wall that the coils in behind have ice all over them. In addition, my evaporation tray seems to have been dry for a while. Can you tell me if the problem is drainage related or defrost timer, etc related? As well could you give me asome tips on how to get the b

I have a Hotpoint RFA17 fridge/freezer and I get a build up of water on top of the drain hole at the back of the fridge and excess water under the veg trays. I can push a piece of rope down the plug hole, but it hits something near the bottom. I can also push it up from the bottom, but again something is blocking the path. Is this a straight through pipe or is the pipe possibly iced up near the bottom? Thanks for advice in advance.
I have a BEKO TLDA662 Tall Larder Fridge and trying to get the drain tray out of back at bottom of fridge as it has starting smelling & want to clean.
Instructions say "push lug down with tip of screwdriver & pull out firmly"
There does not appear to be anything I would call a "lug" ?, where the tray is fixed to the compressor & gives the impression it will slide out with a good pull, but I have reached that point where worried it will snap, I feel need to "release" something.
We've had this LG LRFC-21755 fridge for a little more than three years, and the ice make stopped working about a year ago.
Water fills the ice maker, and the cubes get made, but sometimes the cubes won't get ejected. Then, the next time the water comes into the ice maker, it runs right down into the tray.
I did remove the whole ice maker once, letting the cubes thaw and fall out. The problem started again, though, as soon as I put it back in.
I'm comfortable replacing the ice maker, if

Freezer is not cooling. Pulled out fridge and cleand the vents for the cooling fan in the back. Also cleaned the front vents and coils. Tilted the fridge a little bit to get at the coils on the bottom. Washed out the inside of the Freezer and plugged it back in. It doesn't seem to be cooling.
If it is not cooling at all it is because the compressor is not running and that needs to be confirmed. Once established that the compressor is not running, then you need to look at the start relay and the capacitor if there is one (Capacitor). That ...

I have a Whirlpool model # ET1CHEXVB00 refridgerator. I just (few minutes ago) replaced the ice maker valve because water was no longer getting to the icemaker. Very shortly after I plugged the refridgerator back in and turned on the water, the icemaker went through one cycle and some water (mayber quarter cup) ran down the inside back of the freezer cabinet. Also one time recently (before I decided to replace the icemaker valve), I found several cups of water on the bottom of the freezer cab

The fredge space became warm, the freezer was OK.I have found out that the problem is in the clogged drain hole in the bottom of the freezer. After I had defrosted the refrigerator, the cooling of fridge came back to normal. After several weeks situation occured again. Even after compliete defreezing melted water stays in the freezer and nothing gets to the pan of condensed water below. Where the drian hole is situated and how can I get to it for its cleaning up?
Sounds like you are having a defrost problem. If the problem was only with the drain hole, the refrigerator section would still maintain temperature and not get warm. The fact that when you defrosted it, it started working properly, indicates a defro ...
TFS22PP - GE side by side - running warm. Freezer not freezing and fridge side not cool. I'm not in the freezer too much but noticed the fridge getting a little warmer. Then I noticed some frozens were a bit soft around the edges 2 days after I had filled it (of course). Following some of the other solutions posted, I checked the back freeze wall - frosty. Pulling the back wall panel off - one big block of ice - top to bottom. Cleared it with a hair dryer and figured to drop in a defrost therm (

A week ago the stuff in the bottom 'veg keeper' was getting too cold so I cut back both the fridge/freezer problem to 'orig settings.) I did put a ton of food in the refrig for Easter (maybe it held the door open on the right side, like my sis-in-law suggested? I don't know.) This was 7 hours ago. I thought the freezer was ok, but just now I found 'ice built up' (crystals.. snow) inside the back of the freezer dept. I hated that. My 'bread' in the freezer was halfway unthawed. It's l4 years old.
It is not defrosting . coil is icing over it will slowly get warmer in fridge then freezer. will be defrost timer needs replacing or defrost element. also listen if fan motor is running when door closed. ...

Kenmore Coldspot 106-52609100 side by side is not working, freezer is only cold at the bottom and the refrigerator is not as cold as it should be. I opened the freezer to get something out and noticed the ice bucket was full of water and items on the top two shelves were thawing out. I cleaned everything out of both sides and cleaned the inside. I then removed both front panel and the back panel and cleaned all the coils with a shop vac.
I noticed frost build-up on the back panel, I removed
No theres nothing else in line before the fan motor. If you have 120vac at the fan motor and its not running then either the bearings are tied up or your windings are open. Replacing the fan motor will correct the problem. Without that fan motor runn ...
I have a whirlpool sidekick. Love it, but water is leaking from the bottom. About a cup a day I find on the floor. The water is located under the vegetable tray and drains out when it gets too full under the tray.. help.. what do I do. It is ruining my wood floor..
About once a week I find an icicle hanging from the back bottom of the ice maker. It's formed by water running out of the hole where the auger comes out the back. This has been happening for the last 6-8 weeks. It seems to happen when it is full of ice and the ice appears to be melting and running out the hole and making the icicle. It also will form a big frozen puddle under the icicle if there is something to catch it. I now have a little catch pan under the ice maker to keep from making an ev

Fridge makes clinking noise periodically throughout the day. It is getting worse and louder. It started after i put the ice cube maker back into action (i had it in the upright position to stop making ice, then put it down to make some ice, and then put it back up after the tray was full).
If the noise is only heard when you activate the icemaker, then your problem is probably with the icemaker. Some icemakers make more noise than others. If it's unbearable, replace the icemaker. ...
